1. College - A Real Hero Feat Electric Youth

    `Drive 2011

I watched Drive with a friend for the first time this morning and initially when my friend suggested we watch it I was ambivalent as I’m not the biggest fan of pulp noir or heist films, but it ended up blowing me away! Despite Gosling’s character’s reclusive, mysterious, and aloof demeanor, I found him so difficult to not fall in love with. I felt that the score was brilliantly played, especially the inclusion of College’s A Real Hero, a song I really liked before and like even more now, which was played twice and added a certain yearning and nostalgic romance that went along perfectly with both scenes. All in all Drive just has this intangible charm that I rarely encounter in Hollywood films and my only regret is having waited so long to see it.

Pretty sure I can drive forever listening to this.
